i can't believe it.

that time of my life has totally snuck up on me. on all of us.

i have been eagerly awaiting for this adventure to begin... and now i only have 57 days until i depart.

where has the time gone?

if you are wondering what i am talking about, the answer is...

I HAVE BEEN CALLED TO SERVE A MISSION FOR THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS! and i honestly couldn't be happier, more excited, and oh so ready to leave, in my whole entire life.

*please excuse the fact that i couldn't talk and totally pronounced it incorrectly! i was just in complete and utter shock!*

the time has finally come.

19 years and 40 days later.

opening that letter that was sent specifically to me, telling me where i would spend the next 18 months of my life was the most wonderful feeling that i have ever felt.

i was so excited as i read the words, "you are assigned to labor in the florida, fort lauderdale mission."

florida? florida? that had never crossed my mind, but it was PERFECT. i instantly knew that was exactly where i needed to go.

the word "labor" really stuck out to me.

missions aren't easy. it is not easy to be away from your family in a completely unfamiliar environment, working and serving from 6:30 in the morning when your feet hit the floor running, until 10:30 at night when you lay your head down on your pillow. you worry about those you are going to come in contact with, and pray for those you love and are currently teaching.

it is not going to be easy, but it will definitely be worth it!

follow along with the rest of the readers of this blog. my weekly letters will be posted here for all to see (and read). i am so excited to be able to bring you along with me on this journey. i pray that your hearts will be touched, just as mine will be.

i love you all!

thank you for your continuous support.

i am pretty positive, i wouldn't be at this point in my life without you!

con mi amor ~
